Kenai Performers
April 2010 Newsletter |
| Summer Plans |
Those "lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer" are almost upon us. Actually, there is nothing lazy or hazy about the upcoming weeks for the Kenai Performers...but there is a whole lot of crazy!
Plan the month of April well. On the menu is another original play from Mike Druce in the form of Murder at the Pie Auction. On the same weekend, the Performing Arts Society presents our favorite ARC Trio in concert.
We're ramping up for summer camp again. Summer at the Playhouse 2010 will be starting on the Monday after school is out. At the same time, we'll be getting ready to move out of the Playhouse and into our new home down the road!
A new addition to the summer line up is the Kenai Performers Academy. The Academy will provide ample opportunities for students to expand their theatrical skill set.
So many choices, so little time! |
| Murder at the Pie Auction |

Yep, it's official. Kenai Performers is moving. We're in the process of purchasing the Hall Quality Builders building located at 1212 1st Ave...just down the road from the Playhouse. We don't know the exact date that we're moving- it won't take place until after Summer at the Playhouse is completed.
One thing we do know for certain is that there is a lot of work to do. You're all invited to come by the Playhouse on any Sunday afternoon to help downsize our vast array of treasures (and other stuff). Come by for a few minutes, or stay for an hour or two. Bring food, bring gloves, bring trucks (to haul away some of that "other stuff"), bring ideas or just a little encouragement. Everyone is welcome.
Sincerely,
Kenai Performers |
